Hi..... When we say "Merry meet" we mean
(may we) merry meet, (may we )merry part, (and may we) merry meet again;

which is not just a greeting and good bye, but a blessing or invocation of goodwill and goodluck.

So, what i had in mind was a Challenge:
To create a book of blessings, from the many people who visit here.
Now, the blessings must be
1) from the heart, honest and genuine
2)reflect an aspect of your path(s), belief(s), craft, heritage
3) they do not have to be in rhyme, but should sound pleasant and sincere; rhythm and balance, and often simplicity are important.
4)they should be short enough to say as a phrase or sentence
5) they may either be a blessing you would speak over a person, an occassion [handfasting e.g.] or as an invocation to benevolent powers 'lady keep her safe, that she return' ...'may the sea grant safe passage, safe anchorage and harbour' ...
a short sentence on where the blessing would be appropriately used may also help.

no time limit, let it grow with each post.

think of the positive potential building
